I've been working with wood for a number of years and have been making pens since about 2005. Each pen is unique, even when two are made from the same material and even from the same piece of wood. I've been in Middle Tennessee since 1978 and while I enjoy working with wood from around the world, I prefer wood from Tennessee and other parts of the USA.
In addition to traditional materials, I like to use something with sentimental value (such as a piece of barn wood from the family farm or a piece of busted up furniture) and give it new life as a custom crafted writing pen. This becomes something that is both utilitarian and a precious heirloom.
"The most valuable items here cannot be purchased. They are the care and skill that go into each handmade item, whether it is the least expensive or the most expensive, the service and time to help you make the best selection for your individual needs, and the ongoing service that is provided long after the sale is made."
