I made this pen from Pheasant Wood and used hardware with an antique silver finish. This is the first time I've heard of pheasant wood and I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I obtained the wood from an friend in the US Army who is stationed in Hawaii.

This pen uses a standard rollerball refill that is available at any office supply store. Not just a rollerball, but this pen's front section can be easily swapped out with a fountain pen nib. The included rollerball cartridge is made in Germany by Schmidt and the optional fountain pen nib is made in Germany by JoWo.

The photos just begin to show the beautiful grain and figuring of this wood. It is a unique piece that you'll love using and showing off to others.
