  • Where is the store based?

  • What material can be used to make a pen?

    The pen consists of two main materials... The hardware and the body/cap.

    Depending on the model of pen, the hardware could be finished with any of the following: Gold, Chrome, Titanium Nitride, Rhodium, Gun Metal, Antique Pewter, Antique Copper, Antique Brass & others.

    The body of the pen can be almost any type of wood, both domestic and exotic, or custom cast resin. Pens can also be made with a combination of materials, such as rattlesnake skin, leather, pine cones, and other materials that are then cast in a protective resin coating.

    Essentially, anything that can be cast under resin or turned on a lathe can be used. If you have something that has sentimental value, you can send it to me to be repurposed into a fine writing instrument.

  • How long will it take to receive my order?

    Stocked items generally ship within one to two business days. Custom creations will, naturally, take somewhat longer. Depending on the type of item, it will typically be one to two weeks, but it could be longer.

    For custom items, you will receive an email with an estimation of the shipping time.

    My preferred shipping method is US Postal Service - First Class or Priority FRB, which means that you should receive your purchase within a few days of the actual ship date.

  • Why does it take a couple of weeks for custom orders?

    Since there are some many options and possibilities, I might need to order some of the hardware and other materials for your order. If I already have the materials, it should only take a week or two. If I have to order anything, then that will increase the time.

    Each order is a custom, hand crafted item and is given the attention it deserves. These are not produced on an assembly line, but are done individually.

    While your order is very important to me, it might take a few days to begin working on it. Don't worry, though. I'll keep you informed of its status.

    If you need it rushed, please let me know. I'll do whatever I can to meet your schedule.

  • Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?

    Absolutely. International shipping rates and delivery times apply.
